Only if it states it on the card.
so if a card says something like "select and remove one card on the field from play" then it's not being detroyed
But if it says something like " destroy one card on the field and remove it from play" then it's being destroyed.

Ok if a monster is removed from play, its not techniqually destroyed. It goes to the out of play section. The only difference is that you cant use monster reborns on it but you can use stuff like return from different dimension.

and for person who said 13 or older is nerd, im 14 bout to be 15 lol. Its just cards its not like its barney or nuttin. nobig deal.

if a monster goes out of play, it doesn't mean it's destroyed. after it goes out of play, nothing can happen to it. no one can play a monster reborn(or another card that brings a card out of the graveyard)on it.

sometimes. usually they'll just be considered as removed. but cards like bottomless trap hole say "destroy and remove from play" meaning the monster that was hit by bottomless was considered to be destroyed (but those effects won't work if it says "destroyed and sent to the graveyard")
