I'm a Chess Player and I really don't think that it can save the World.
But Chess Players could go on playing the game on and on even of the End of the World draws nearer. Its that addictive to Players of the game. |

I don't think it really has any influence on world politics, economics, global warming or any other important issues that have to do with the world.
However, it does improve the world (slightly) by bringing enjoyment and intellectual stimulation to the people who play it. |

YES and no. yes because chess keeps u occupied to the point that u have no time to commit crimes. no time to cut down trees. no time to drive a car and emit poisonous gases. NO because chess is simply a game. chess does teach u war tactics and strategies, but if u actually sit down and think abt it, it definitely will not save the world. the possibility is just not there.
